Kicking off his Sad Boi: Winter Summer tour, Dean Lewis brought all the chill vibes to the sunny state of Florida at The Plaza Live in Orlando on May 9th, 2022. Starting the show off right, his opener Forest Blakk sang some love songs, and spoke about his relationship with his girlfriend who the songs were about. Forest got a little emotional as this was both his and Lewis’ first tour back since COVID hit a little over two years ago. Blakk had amazing crowd control, and even had the crowd split down the middle to do some fun chants during one of his songs.

Once it was time for Lewis to hit the stage, the crowd started chanting his name to let them know how ready they were for him. His band took to the stage first, to get the crowd even more pumped up than they already were. The second Dean hit the stage the crowd roared and he had the biggest smile on his face as he was grabbing his guitar. He gave a few speeches about how thankful he was for everyone that was there and spoke about how amazing it felt to be back on stage for the first time in years.

The entire show was a very laid back, chill type of vibe which was a super nice change of pace. Towards the end of the night, Dean went out into the middle of the pit and had the crowd form a circle around him. They had one single spotlight on him, just playing his guitar, and it was such a sweet, heartfelt moment that I could tell he was truly thankful for all his fans. If you have the opportunity to, I highly recommend attending one of Dean Lewis’ shows on the Sad Boi: Winter Summer tour!
